Day 78 of 100 Pleats ……. Fresh Flowers

 

Day 78 of the 100 PLEATS IN 100 DAYS CHALLENGE and its back to basics with a simple , classic French Pleat …….but, of course, I just HAD to add a little extra …..I just can’t help myself, can I ?

These pretty fresh flowers are some of the  remaining blooms from a bouquet that was bought for me by a very kind neighbour.

I do love flowers ….I think you may have guessed by now …….. in fact I have flowers strewn across many of my clothes. Not fresh ones, of course ….no ….they would wilt and die and look silly …..

But embroidered blossoms and applique petals never die and so they adorn my skirts or jackets and make me smile.

Today I have been sorting through my clothes in an effort to decide just which items I shall take when I go to visit my daughter for the Christmas Holidays ……… I think this pretty, flower-embellished, velvet  INDIGO MOON   jacket has made it onto the  ‘short-list‘ …….
