Today, Saturday 13th September, is the Beverley Georgian Festival.
This is an Open Day run in conjunction with English Heritage.
The delightful, old, East Yorkshire market town has many fine Georgian buildings and some of these were open to the public.
Although the sky was slightly overcast, the weather was kind and, as you can see, the elegant Georgian costumes of local students, were worn with great aplomb. I think a ‘good time’ was had by all concerned !
